The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) is a professional body representing counselling and psychotherapy that works toward a better standard of therapeutic practice. As a member of the BACP I adhere to their Ethical Framework for Counselling Professionals.

My modality and approach.
I am a qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, educated and trained to postgraduate level in Humanistic Psychotherapeutic Counselling.
Humanistic counselling is a relational therapy, with a focus on meaning making and self-empowerment. This modality of counselling seeks to help individuals recognise their strengths, creativity and choice in the 'here and now', in order to live life more authentically.

I provide a dedicated professional service that involves monitoring of my own personal process through clinical supervision, further training and keeping up-to-date with professional, ethical and theoretical changes within counselling and psychotherapy.
