Sometimes life's challenges can feel too much for all of us.
Are you struggling with a change or crisis? Feeling stuck? Overwhelmed? Perhaps you are tired of repeating the same patterns, or are yearning for more fulfilment in your life and relationships.
What ever brings you here, making the decision to access counselling is an important and empowering step towards understanding and confronting the issues that are causing you distress.
Once you have made this commitment to yourself, counselling will provide a safe and contained facilitative space, within which you can explore your troubles, increase your awareness of self, and work bravely towards a more contented and meaningful life.
How counselling can help.
Whether you have had counselling before, or are accessing this for the first time, counselling provides a unique opportunity for self-exploration and reflection.
By providing a regular and reliable time and space, just for you, counselling provides the opportunity for increased awareness and understanding, of ourselves and others.
Therefore counselling has the potential to improve your self-esteem, resilience and relationships with other people. Whilst everyone's aims for therapy will be different, an increased understanding of yourself and your world can provide invaluable assistance when navigating life's challenges.
My commitment to you.
It is my firmly held belief that each person accessing counselling is the expert of their own, unique experience.
Owing to this I will never tell you how to live your life, and will approach our work together with a curiosity and positive regard that is without agenda or expectation.
As a Humanistic Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, my core training incorporated a number of therapeutic models, which will enable us to be flexible during our work together to find the best way for you.
You can find out more about me, my approach and modality in the 'About' section.
You are not broken.
You are breaking through.
